Anthony F. Godshall, Esq. was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia and graduated with his bachelor’s degree from Temple University in 2014 where he received the Norman J. Kaner Memorial Prize for his exemplary skills in critical thought. After he obtained his bachelor’s degree from Temple University, he entered the workforce for roughly three years before applying to law school. He subsequently attended Temple University School of Law where he focused on trial advocacy and criminal law. In May 2020, Anthony graduated with his J.D. and received a Certificate in Trial Advocacy. He was also an appointed fellow with the Rubin Public Interest Law Honor Society.

During law school, Anthony worked for many different criminal law firms and entities. For instance, he was an appellate legal intern with the Montgomery County Public Defender’s Officer, a certified legal intern with the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, a clinical intern with the Federal Community Defender’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and a certified legal intern with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office. He also took advanced classes in trial advocacy and criminal law including coursework on sentencing. Upon graduating, Anthony worked as an associate, at a civil litigation firm, focusing in professional liability defense.

Anthony was admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania in 2020 and is also admitted to practice law in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Middle District of Pennsylvania. His primary focus is on criminal defense with some work in civil matters.

Anthony prides himself on his analytical skills, effective cross-examination, and passion in his work and will not rest until he provides his clients with the best possible outcome according to their circumstances.
